Our Story
Three Generations, One Mission
Linked Living Homes is a locally owned and operated business in the Fox Valley, built on three generations of family craftsmanship and the same values of hard work, honest service, and genuine care for the families we serve.
Where It All Began
1970
In 1970's , Cops Services was founded in Kimberly WI by brothers Henry & Jerry Cops. Cops began with janitorial services and later expanded into different services including restoration work for homes. They later moved to Kaukauna WI and operated out of the old municipal building alongside the river.
Where It All Began
1990
In the 1990's the family business was turned over to Henry's sons, Tom and Jim Cops. The business now operated under the name Cops Construction and was most involved in residential construction and light commercial construction.
Building in the Fox Valley
2018
In 2018 Tom felt called to take on the mission of helping families to take care of their loved ones. Linked Living was created as a new company brand although the tools, building, and generational business knowledge flowed from the previous business. Tom's sons Michael & Greg Cops work with Tom running the business. In 2022 Linked Living moved from Kaukauna to their current location on Perkins St. in Appleton.

This is a 672 square foot model that includes an open concept full kitchen, living room, bedroom with walk-in closet, and bathroom with laundry area. Walking through the show model is a step in the process that families tend to find very valuable because you can actually feel how big the space is and get a pretty good idea if this is something that would work for you. Our process is simple – and we’ll work with you through each step.
Design
The design is a collaboration. We like to get to know you and your needs in order to best design the space. We’ll sit down together and create a design using our experience to create a design that serves your needs.
Plan & Permit
We’ll take care of all permitting. It begins we a permitting check early in the process to ensure we’re designing something that allowed. Once a contract is reached we’ll acquire all necessary permits.
Construction
Once permits and preconstruction planning is complete we’ll begin construction. We’ll manage the entire project including the construction of the addition, utilities, and associated remodeling of the existing home.
Turn Key Finish
When we’re done, all you need to do is furnish the addition, move in, and enjoy the new space.
